Parent Transition Planning Workshop 03/22/2012
Ulster County Transition Coordinating Council presents 2012 Parent Information Series Are you a parent or guardian of a young adult with an IEP or 504 Plan? Do you know who can provide services after high school graduation? Do you have concerns about accessing supports? If so, you are invited to attend the following FREE informational workshop to learn about available options and resources. Come and get answers to your questions and initiate linkages to the adult services which promote the successful transition of young adults from school to living, learning and earning in their communities. Family of Woodstock, Inc works in conjunction with the Office of Employment and Training to help qualifying youth 16-21 who need support finding jobs and becoming self-sufficient individuals. They have GED support, work readiness workshops, money to pay for certification tuition, and paid internships available.
